A charming newly renovated studio apartment, Little Burrows lies tucked away on a quiet street in The Downalong, one of the prettiest and most characterful quarters of St Ives. Fully equipped and perfectly positioned, this is an idyllic base from which couples can explore all that this iconic west coast town has to offer including its world-class restaurants, art galleries, independent shops and fabulous harbour. Just a couple of minutes’ walk away are two of the area’s best beaches at Porthmeor and Porthgwidden where golden sands offer plenty of opportunity for unwinding in the sunshine, and clear blue water is ideal for SUP-ping, kayaking, surfing and swimming.

Tastefully designed and beautifully furnished, the property has everything you’ll need for a truly magical stay. The gorgeous master bedroom is a calm space for enjoying restful nights and long morning lie-ins, and the clean and contemporary bathroom which features a large walk-in shower is great for de-sanding in after a day spent down on the beach. There’s a lovely open plan living space for feet-up relaxation or discussing the day’s plans over a coffee or glass of wine. The lovely kitchen comes amply equipped for rustling up home-cooked dinners, and for evenings when a meal out is preferred, there are several fantastic eateries to choose from just a short stroll from the front door.

Wander the town’s winding streets, park yourself outside a coffee shop and watch the world go by. Or for a dose of culture, The Tate St Ives perches right beside Porthmeor Beach, so you can take in some of that famous art scene and then step out onto the sand. If you’re hankering for a snack, stroll over to the harbour and enjoy a fish and chips or a traditional Cornish pasty and fix your eyes on one of the best sea views around while you tuck in.

*Little Burrows sits beneath Burrow Cottage. The flat has its own entrance on Island Road whereas the entrance to Burrow Cottage is on the opposite side of the building on Burrow Road. There are no interconnecting doors between the properties.
