With private parking and sleeping room for four guests, Tremanon makes an ideal self-catering holiday home for a small family or a couple seeking a romantic break. Enter through the porch, a handy spot for muddy boots, and walk through to the open-plan living/dining area with dining space to easily accommodate guests, and a cosy sitting area with a TV and a woodburning stove for when the temperature begins to get a little chilly. The compact kitchen has everything you might need to whip up a tasty lunch or evening meal, and when the sun is shining you dine outside on the south facing patio terrace. The two bedrooms are spread across the first and second-floors and both benefit from spectacular views across the village towards the coast and sea. The picturesque harbour in Port Isaac is just a five-minute walk away, where you can watch the fishing boats return with their daily catch, or on special occasions catch a performance of Fisherman’s Friends singing sea shanties. The north coast of Cornwall has lots of amazing beaches but the ones around Newquay, especially Fistral Beach, are well worth a visit for the miles of golden sand and excellent conditions for swimming and surfing. For families with children a trip to Newquay Zoo or the Blue Reef Aquarium is a great way to spend the day. After a day exploring the sights, return to Tremanon for a wonderful sleep.

A beautiful fishing village nestling in a steep sided valley, the old village in the valley remains unchanged from its days of fishing, slate export and smuggling in the previous century. An abundance of small character properties complemented by larger cliff-top retreats, can be found with easy access to the numerous restaurants and shops of the village. The sandy harbour provides an abundance of rock pools as the tide retreats. Only ten minutes drive from the beaches of Polzeath, Daymer and Rock, it is perfect for romantic and family holidays alike. There is ample parking at the top of the village.
