Quay Cottage, as its name suggests is right in the heart of Port Isaac, a stones throw from the slipway down to the harbour and sea, village and harbour views can be enjoyed from all three floors. The cottage will sleep 5 guests in 3 bedrooms with 1 bathroom, and an outhouse with small shower room/WC with the benefit of parking for one vehicle in private garage located at the top of the village. A sunny, walled courtyard garden is a tranquil spot to while away the hours with the morning papers or a good book, while the hustle and bustle of village life continues close by. Listen out on a Friday night for the sound of the Fisherman's Friends singing their atmospheric sea shanties from the Platt right outside Quay cottage and join the throng who gather to listen in the summer months. The self-catering accommodation comprises of a spacious twin bedroom offering fabulous views across the harbour and lobber point, a single bedroom and on the second floor a lovely large and light double bedroom again with harbour and sea views. The slate slabbed sitting room and exposed beams are sympathetic to the heritage and history of this traditional fisherman's cottage. A shower room/WC in the outhouse is accessed from the courtyard. After a busy day in the village or on the beach, create even more atmosphere in the comfortable sitting room by stoking up the wood burner and relaxing on one of the comfortable sofas. All manner of good food can be found a short stroll away; from fish and chips eaten on the slipway to fine dining in Nathan Outlaw's restaurant or sociable fish creations at his cosy Fish Kitchen. Art galleries and gift shops are lovely to browse around while the children enjoy ice creams or Cornish fudge before heading out to the rock pools in the harbour. A short drive away is the beautiful Camel Estuary at Rock where the sand dunes are a designated site of special interest due to the geology and flora and the calm estuary waters provide a haven for boating enthusiasts. Polzeath beach offers keen surfers an exhilarating ride, while Daymer Bay's calm bathing waters and stream offer traditional bucket and spade holidays.Ground Floor:

The picturesque fishing village of Port Isaac rests on the coastline of Cornwall, within a steep sided valley. Decorated with charming character buildings, the village is home to a collection of local amenities, including a handful of shops and restaurants. The glorious golden sands of the harbour provide an idyllic spot to soak in the sunshine, or try your hand a rock pooling, whilst more coastal adventurers can be enjoyed in Polzeath, Daymer and Rock.
