This light and airy detached bungalow has been thoughtfully designed and furnished, providing a great base to explore not only this picturesque village, but also the surrounding area. There is a well-fitted kitchen with dining area, a large family bathroom and two bedrooms, both with TVs. Outside is a sunny garden and patio, which are ideal for a morning cup of coffee or an evening barbecue.
You can take a short stroll down to the village of Port Isaac, made famous by the TV series Doc Martin. Along the north coast are the villages of Tintagel, the mythical home of King Arthur, Boscastle, and further west is Padstow, with its array of shops, pubs and restaurants. There you can take a ferry to Rock, or walk or cycle the Camel Trail along the estuary to Wadebridge and beyond. The property’s location is ideal for visiting many of the tourist attractions that Cornwall has to offer. Shop 500 yards, pub and restaurant 800 yards.

Perfect home from home with everything you,d need in a great location to explore.If you forget something at Tesco in Wadebrige(8 miles away)there,s a local Co-op round the corner so dont worry.My wife suffers with arthritis with reduced mobility but we got out to see as much as we could.Biggest problem was parking wherever we went due to pure numbers and school holidays.At another time of the year,probably,no problems.Out of the front door every night were the most spectacular sunsets too,and weatherwise,we touched lucky.Port Isaac isnt for cars,so bare this in mind as it was originally for horse and cart. Plenty to see and do from the end of a cul de sac on its own bungalow estate,with an owner,Donna who was very helpful,especially with milk in the fridge on our arrival.Dont hesitate booking,you,ll love it,like we did.

We cannot fault this amazing property. Spotlessly clean and tastefully decorated. We wouldn’t hesitate to come back again. Such a great location for exploring the area and Donna and Kevin were brilliant hosts and we knew they were nearby if we needed them. We had a fantastic week in a top rate property. Five stars well deserved.
