About this property

Port Isaac 2.2 miles. In the small hamlet of St Endellion which lies in the north of Cornwall, is Primrose Cottage, an end of terrace stone cottage nestled within the beautiful Cornish countryside. Perfectly suited for a couple wanting a romantic getaway, or with the option of using the sofa-bed, make it a trip to the coast with friends. Be welcomed into the open-plan living space decorated with hues of cream, blue and grey contrasted with natural wood, you will look forward to returning here after each day’s adventure. The kitchen hosts all the appliances you'll need for a self-catered stay, with a dining table sitting at the end of the worktop, and a breakfast bar. A sofa and a sofa bed complete the sitting area with a TV, looking out onto the lush green garden through the patio doors. Open out the doors to bring the day in when it's warm and sit out on the garden furniture to take in the fresh air, with views out across the countryside and fields. Upstairs find the double bedroom, again with pretty views, where you will get your rest and be able to store your personal belongings in the ample storage space, while the bathroom sits next door, home to a bath and shower over. In St Endellion, located across from the Long Cross Hotel, are the Long Cross Victorian Gardens, kept in the original Victorian layout covering over 2-acres and featuring a maze and a small lake, these are the only public gardens on the North Cornish Coast and make a lovely day out in close reach of your dwelling. Travel just a few miles north up to Port Isaac to enjoy a stroll down to the harbour, and take a fishing or scenic trip out in the summer on one of the boats, before heading to one of the lovely pubs for some tasty food. Primrose Cottage will be a great spot to rest your heads as you explore northern Cornwall.

Port Isaac is a small fishing village in north Cornwall, with the village dating from the 18th and 19th centuries when it prospered from the fishing industry. Home to around 90 Grade II listed buildings, this is a quaint place, offering a typical picturesque Cornish coastal settlement. It is home to a few pubs, shops and local businesses and is not far from Polzeath and Tintagel.
