When mealtimes call, the beautifully presented kitchen houses a great many amenities to cater to your culinary needs, and there is a dining table where guests can indulge in a hearty meal, as the handy utility takes care of the laundry. This beautiful getaway has the added opulence of an indoor sauna, and an outdoor hot tub, ideal for taking in the countryside views as you enjoy an indulgent dip, and there is also a dining space outside ideal for alfresco affairs on sunny days, with beautiful countryside as your backdrop. When sleep calls, freshen up in the shower, before choosing between a king-size with en-suite shower room, and twin bedroom with en-suite bathroom, both with TVs. Dobwalls is a lovely village offering a local pub, The Highwayman, and a convenience store, as well as easy access to many local walks and interesting sites, with options including Golitha Falls, Trippet Stone Circle, and King Arthur's Hall. Visit Liskeard, where there is the Liskeard Museum and Stuart House, or Bodmin where you will find the Bodmin Town Museum and Bodmin Jail Attraction, as well as a selection of quaint independent shops and tasty eateries. For a day at the seaside, head over to Fowey, where there is St Catherine’s Castle and Fowey Aquarium, or Looe where there is a lovely beach, and access to pretty seaside walks. All of this and so much more with a stay at the stunning 20 Meadow Retreat.

The rural village of Dobwalls is surrounded by open fields and wooded countryside, and is close to the market town of Liskeard, the slopes of Bodmin Moor and the glorious north and south Cornish coastlines. This is a perfect base for exploring the many delights the region has to offer, with the picturesque fishing harbours of Looe, Fowey and Polperro within 15 miles to the south whilst Padstow and the surfing beach at Polzeath lie a comfortable drive away on the North Coast. Take a trip to Siblyback Lake and enjoy the wonderful sailing, fishing and watersports on offer, or travel a little further and take advantage of the superb walking on Bodmin Moor. The Eden project lies within 15 miles and Plymouth is just a 30 minute drive, or 25 minute train ride from nearby Liskeard station. With the Barbican harbour district, renowned aquarium, and good selection of shops, restaurants and theatres, this is a great holiday base.
