Jackdaws is a charming modern cottage set over three floors with superb views of the harbour. Located in the heart of Port Isaac, this lovely village was made famous by the popular television series 'Doc Martin’ and by the iconic Fisherman’s Friends folk group.

From the pretty stone patio at the front of the cottage, enter into the cosy sitting room on the ground floor. This room is really lovely with white washed stone walls and comfy sofas; it is easy to imagine yourselves cosying up in here of an evening with a glass of wine and a good film.

The oak and glass spiral staircase heads up to the first floor where you will find a comfortable double bedroom with views across the village, next to which is a compact bunk bedroom, perfect for the little ones. Adjacent is a modern shower room with corner shower. And tucked just off the stairwell is a useful small utility room with washing machine, tumble dryer and cloakroom/WC.

Climb the spiral stairs once again to the second floor where the room opens out into an open-plan second sitting room, with modern fitted kitchen area and dining table with seating for four guests. The ceilings here are vaulted with the original beams creating a light and airy space decorated with modern art and a fabulous view towards the harbour and out to sea.

A door from the kitchen area leads out onto the rear decked patio with glass balconies and views across the rooftops to the harbour, with a flight of wooden steps leading you up to a higher level of decking which has a barbecue, seating area and even more amazing views. This is the perfect spot for some alfresco cooking whilst enjoying a beautiful sunset. All in all, Jackdaws is a fabulous, well-equipped cottage perfect for summer holidays with the children, relaxing weekends away and special occasions for couples.
