St Agnes 4 miles. Superbly located for beach and walking holidays, this beautifully furnished house is set in the village of Porthtowan just five minutes walk from the Blue Flag award-winning beach. Ideal for families and group holidays. From the moment you arrive you will appreciate the quality of furnishings and the homely feel that exudes throughout. There are four bedrooms here, with three set on the first floor and the master king size double with en suite facilities on the second floor. The ground floor is open plan offering a well equipped kitchen and comfortable dining and sitting areas. Outside there is an enclosed garden at the rear to relax after a day on the beach. Directly opposite the house is a well designed children's playground, so close that parents can keep an eye on the children as they play from the comfort of the living room. There are two well known popular beach front pubs, the Unicorn and the Blue Bar, both serving great food and a fine selection of local ales and both within a 5 minute walk from the house. The beach itself is hard to beat, bordered by soft golden sand and backed by large dunes and dramatic cliffs. Walkers will delight in taking to the coast path which heads east to St Agnes and west to Portreath with spectacular sea views all the way. Ideally situated on the north coast there will be many coastal villages and coves to visit throughout your holiday making a stay at the Cove one to remember.

Porthtowan is a small village resting on west Cornwall’s beautiful coastline, renowned for its Blue Flag beach, which at low tide exposes almost a mile and a half of fine, golden sands. Fringed by impressive granite cliffs, the beach is a popular surfing venue and is lifeguarded during the summer, making it ideal for families. Porthtowan is part of the St Agnes designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, and there are some wonderful walks to be found, offering vivid scenery along the South West Coast Path, whether you choose to head east to St Agnes or west to Portreath. The towns of St Ives and Penzance, with their art galleries, restaurants and quaint harbours, are half an hour’s drive away, whilst Flambards Theme Park, The Cornish Seal Sanctuary in Gweek, and the Goonhilly Satellite Earth Station are just a few of the other diverse attractions scattered around this picturesque region. A great base for a varied family break.
