The kitchen is fully equipped with all the appliances you could possibly need to cook up something hearty and filling. Choose whether to serve up your meal at the dining table within the kitchen, or venture to the picnic table and soak take watch the sunset. As the night draws in, find your sleeping arrangements, choosing from a well-presented double room which comes complete with an en-suite shower room, a bright and airy twin room with two windows letting the Cornish sunshine in, or a bunk room perfect for the little ones. Alongside this is a family bathroom containing a bath with a shower over, and a basin and WC. Step out of the cottage with a bag packed for the beach and head down to the sands to get a good spot, but don't worry if you've forgotten anything because it's only a few steps away! Portreath beach is great for surfing and is clean and safe for children so you can enjoy a paddle with the kids before making some sandcastles, Portreath is home to one of the countys most successful surf life saving clubs. Enjoy the shops and cafés close by or wander around the harbour in the afternoon before deciding where to eat for dinner. If you want to venture out further then visit St Ives, a beautiful and quirky town famous for its art scene and hosting the Tate St Ives and the Barbara Hepworth Museum and Sculpture Garden, there is also bike hire avalabile in the village so you can venture down one of the cycle trials. Gulls Cry will make for a great base for a Cornish beach holiday.

Portreath is a delightful seaside village found in the sunshine county of Cornwall. Surrounded by high cliffs and rugged coastline, while a sandy beach sits below, it makes for the perfect coastal getaway.
