Pack up your bathing suits, swim trunks, buckets and spades and head straight for the glorious sands of Perranporth Beach which is dog-friendly all year round, where you can enjoy lazing on the sand with your favourite book as your pooch stretches their legs, beachcombing the shores or try your hand at surfing or paddleboarding. Delve into the town’s past at the Perranzabuloe Museum, where you can wander exhibits detailing local fishing, mining and the farming trade. Take advantage of the excellent selection of pubs and restaurants right on your doorstep, where you can treat your loved ones to a night on the town and delicious food. Keen putters will delight at the fantastic golf course on offer, where you can test out your clubs with a backdrop of stunning views. Walkers will have found their haven with the close proximity of the South West Coast Path, which stretches for 630-miles and provides access to the best views and scenery in the area. Take the short drive over to Newquay, home the picturesque Gannel Estauary, as well as the popular attractions of Bluereef Aquarium, Newquay Zoo and Adventure Golf. Newquay has easy access to a good selection of beaches, including Fistral, Newquay and Porth for more bathing and watersport opportunities. Just a little further is Truro, where you can get a taste of city life and marvel at the imposing Gothic cathedral, wander the Enchanted Trail or explore the Royal Cornwall Museum. Whatever you decide to do in Cornwall, be sure to choose Beach Walk as your home-from-home.

One of the most beautiful coastal towns in Cornwall is Perranporth, which is in the heart of Poldark Country—the setting for Winston Graham's novels. If you're looking for traditional pubs and stores, together with a classic bucket and spade beach that is lifeguarded during the Summer months in Perranporth, you'll find it here. Once known as the best tin in the world, the community still has abandoned pump houses, mine shafts, and workers' cottages to remind it of its rich history.

A real home from home and very well equipped. The only slight criticism was that the bedroom and lounge 'curtains' are too thin and let the light in. Not too bad in the Winter, but we expect it could be an issue in the Summer when the nights are short. No one wants to be woken up at 4 in the morning because it's too light outside. We would certainly want to stay there again and will recommend it to our friends and family.

But otherwise we had a fantastic stay in the property. Close to beach and all restaurants and other amenities....will definitely be coming back.

Excellent location, 2 minutes walk to shops and restaurants, easy access to beach, a park for walking dog just 100 yards away. Perfect.
