However, the cleanliness of the lodge was extremely poor. There were 30-40 dead flies under the main double bed - with a further 70-100 dead flies down the side & back of the single beds in the second bedroom. Clearly there has been an infestation prior to our arrival which had not been cleaned thoroughly. In addition to this, there was thick dust on the headboard, bedside lights and mirror in the main bedroom. There were human hair balls in the lounge carpet and lots of crumbs and scum under the sofa cushions. The mirror in the lounge was all smudged due to poor polishing. I don't expect to have to spend an hour cleaning when I've paid a high price for quality service. The site itself is very small, well maintained and all of the lodges are new. There is always someone walking their dog around the site to do its business. We learnt very fast to not let our children go on the grassed areas. It was off putting to sit on your balcony eating dinner, to have a dog doing its business in front on your lodge.

The holiday was park itself was small but immaculate with a small shop which was useful for picking up essentials such as milk and eggs etc. Reception staff were very friendly and welcoming. Will definitely you be returning.

Reception staff extremely informative and helpful Appreciate that site is dog friendly, but dogs were regularly been walked adjacent and doing their business whilst dining, other than that, our stay was enjoyable and was convenient to explore nearby tourist attractions, I.e. Fowey.
