The owners of 9 Chapel Street run the popular trendy bistro on the harbour front at Fore Street, which serves great food ranging from breakfasts to evening meals. Guests can choose from the extensive menu, or even have their own delivery. The village also has a pub, cafés, tea rooms, small craft shops and art galleries.
This is a great base from which to explore west Cornwall, and within easy reach are the fishing port of Newlyn; Penzance with its long promenade and open air heated swimming pool; Lamorna Cove; the famous surfing beach at Sennen; Lands End; the beautiful beach at Porthcurno; the famous open air theatre at Minack, and much more. We had a fantastic time in this lovely cottage. It had everything we needed although I confess to not turning the oven on! The discount at our favourite restaurant in the world was a lovely touch and we did enjoy a lovely takeaway night from there too. We hope to come back soon and would definitely stay again. Lovely clean accomadation we have stayed numerous times and really like it. With the warmer weather you could do with a fan and also more than two towels for a week stay.
