Guests say

Guests adore the quaint and cosy cottage in Mousehole, praising its charm, cleanliness, and thoughtful touches. The deep bath, underfloor heating, and woodburner are highlights, creating a relaxing atmosphere. While parking can be challenging, the property's proximity to local businesses and eateries is appreciated. Some guests missed pet-friendliness, but the overall experience is highly regarded, with many planning return visits.

Reviewers consistently mention the property's cleanliness, describing it as 'super clean' and well-presented. This indicates a high standard of cleanliness throughout the cottage.

The location is celebrated for its convenience to local cafes, restaurants, and the harbour. However, parking difficulties, particularly during school holidays, slightly detract from the otherwise fantastic location.

Comfort is frequently highlighted, with guests finding the cottage cosy and the bed comfortable. A few guests had personal preferences regarding the quilt and bed, but overall, the comfort level is rated highly.

Facilities like the well-equipped kitchen, huge bath, and woodburner are praised. Some guests had issues with the underfloor heating, but the general sentiment towards the facilities is very positive.

Guests are delighted by the thoughtful welcome pack and other considerate touches, although it's important to note that such gifts are a lovely bonus and not guaranteed with every stay.

This was our third stay at this property so I guess that says it all.

We've stayed in Mousehole on numerous occasions over recent years but this was our first year staying at 9 Chapel Street........and it was superb! With plenty of space in the open plan kitchen/living area, a good sized bedroom with an incredibly comfortable Kind sized bed and a big bath / shower room, it was an incredibly relaxing place to stay. There are plenty of great places to eat and drink in Mousehole (all just a few minutes stroll away) but if you do choose to stay in and cook, the kitchen is really well equipped. We enjoyed our stay so much, we have already rebooked for next year!
