This delightful first-floor apartment, with views out towards the estuary at Appledore, makes an ideal destination for a holiday. Located just down the road from the popular coastal village of Instow, there is plenty to do and see during your stay. Instow is a pretty village with two shops, eateries and pubs, and all within easy walking distance. The wonderful beach with its lovely sand dunes is ideal for all ages and has its own appeal at most times of year. The town of Bideford is a short journey away, with a range of facilities, and a trip to Lundy Island can be organised from the quayside. Westward Ho! (3 miles) has a long stretch of sand and good surf. There is also an indoor swimming pool at Northam (2½ miles). The house is ideally located to explore either Exmoor to the east and its surrounding attractions, or to the west, there is the North Cornish/Devon coastline, with its excellent walking and hidden treasures, like Clovelly, Bucks Mill and Hartland Quay. The Big Sheep farm park, The Milky Way activity park, Dartington Crystal and RHS Rosemoor are other places of interest to visit. The Tarka Cycle Trail and footpath can be accessed from the village, which will ensure there is something for everyone to enjoy. Beach 1 mile. Shop, pub and restaurant 1 mile.

Pictures were a little bit misleading as it looked as if the property was closer to the beach, however the property itself was lovely and the owner was very friendly and accommodating.

We have just enjoyed another great stay in Galleons reach. The flat is always very clean and comfortable, extremely well equipped and maintained. Within reach of some good walks and to view beautiful sunsets. We do hope to return. Many thanks.

A short stay and conveniently located - you can walk to Tarka trail and also to Instow. Great views from back of property. Road quite noisy but quietens down during night. Loved the thick bath towels, well equipped kitchen and bottle of Prosecco!
