Cleveleys beach is located just at the end of the road, or you could jump on the tram into Blackpool to take advantage of all that this renowned holiday resort has to offer, including Blackpool Pleasure Beach, the famous Blackpool Tower, Madame Tussauds and Sandcastle Water Park. Stanley Park and Blackpool Zoo are also just a mile away from Jasmin’s Retreat. The iconic Blackpool Illuminations run from the end of August for 10 weeks, this world famous light show sees illuminations all along the Golden Mile. Being just a tram ride away from Blackpool North’s railway station, walking distance to the beach and with a large supermarket opposite the apartment, means that you could also take a break at Jasmin’s Retreat without needing a car. Accommodation was great for getting into blackpool. We drove some days and got the tram another day which was a 3 minute walk to the stop. The welcome pack was very appreciated with bread, milk, cheese, butter, crisps and some sweets.I hadnt realised that the whole apartment was a renovated upstairs of a house, with the 2nd floor actually being the attic and the main floor being the first floor above another property (the owners, i think). I am disabled (not a wheelchair user) and i struggled getting up the staircase to the property , i had assumed the 13 steps to entrance was outside stairs which are not as steep as the staircase.The 2nd floor - a converted attic, was a very narrow steep staircase. It was absolutely boiling and the window had to be jammed open with a cloth or pillow but there was a fan to try and circulate the air. I was anxious about the twin room being up this little staircase as it was for my 5yo and 7yo children to sleep in. My 5yo still comes to my bed in the night so i was worried she might trip and fall but she promised she would stay in her bed all night and she did, so it wasnt an issue except for my anxiety 😅I really appreciated the washing machine facilities to be able to wash the kids clothes as they went in the water at the beach every day (some days in their clothes!) so not having to bring home smelly 3 day old wet clothes was brilliant. The washing machine itself was a bit grubby looking in the seal but the products supplied made the clothes smell great.I didnt find the clothes airer until the last day so that would have came in handy earlier in the week!Bed was comfy, showers great. Toilet a little cramped. Kitchen was well equipped.Perfect wee home from home for the week. Thankyou so much.

Excellent location approx 200 metres from tram station so very easy to get to Blackpool. Accommodation was perfect for me and 3 teenagers. Kids loved attic room as own privacy. Bathrooms looked brand new and showers were hot and powerful. Great friendly host who left several items as a welcome pack, bread , cheese, milk, butter and chocolate etc. Apartment had everything you could think off and was lovely and clean. Would highly recommend and we wouldn't hesitate to return if we needed to stay in Blackpool again. Thank you for a great stay.
