The quaint fishing port of Padstow is just a short drive away and has a vast array of amenities and excellent restaurants, while Newquay boasts magnificent beaches for surfing and watersports, with many smaller coves dotted along the north Cornwall coastline. St Merryn is two miles from the coast of north Cornwall and is not far from the picturesque harbour and fishing port of Padstow. Surrounded by some of Cornwall's best surfing beaches and golf courses, St Merryn is a holidaymaker's dream, offering two pubs, three restaurants, a Chinese takeaway, a chip shop, mini markets and a Post Office. The vibrant surfing town of Newquay is eleven miles down the road, boasting three fantastic beaches and the National Surf Centre, as well as good shopping, pubs, restuarants and attractions which include a zoo and a SEA life Centre.
