Guests say

Guests consistently praise The Haven for its comfortable accommodation, welcoming hosts, and beautiful garden. Its proximity to beaches and Newquay, along with peaceful surroundings, make it an ideal retreat. The cottage charm and thoughtful touches, such as fresh flowers and welcome treats, contribute to a memorable stay.

The property generally appears clean, with one review noting it was 'spotlessly clean'. However, some guests suggest that more attention to detail in cleaning corners, behind furniture, and outside areas could enhance the overall cleanliness.

The location is highly praised for being close to lovely beaches and Newquay, offering a quiet setting while still being conveniently situated for holiday activities.

Guests find the cottage comfortable, highlighting the spaciousness and the cosy front room. The garden adds to the comfort, providing a relaxing space for activities like badminton.

Facilities are well-received, with special mentions of the garden and the addition of a badminton net. Some minor maintenance issues are noted, such as the need for a bathroom blind and a refresh of the decor.

Hosts are commended for their thoughtfulness, leaving welcome items such as milk, tea, and cookies. While these gestures are appreciated, guests should note that such extras, while delightful, are not guaranteed.

wonderful cottage, amazing value for money and was very comfortable for 6 adults. Pauline was very welcoming and left milk, tea and cookies for our arrival. Beautiful back garden with a wonderful view over the fields, we enjoyed playing badminton. only a 5 minute drive to crantock beach. Pauline was kind enough to post my mum's binoculars that she left!

The cottage's location was very good. It was off the main road, nice and quiet and close to several lovely beaches. Newquay was only a few miles away. The cottage itself was spacious with a lovely garden. The owners were friendly and helpful. A window blind in the bathroom would have been appreciated, especially as builders were working just outside. We had a lovely holiday despite the iffy weather.
