Purlinney Cottage in Delabole offers stunning sea views, a peaceful setting, and proximity to beautiful beaches and local attractions. Guests appreciate its charm, cleanliness, and well-equipped kitchen. The property's layout is quirky, and the WiFi connectivity is noted as problematic. However, the idyllic location and welcoming hosts contribute to a memorable stay, with some guests mentioning delightful homemade biscuits.
Reviews consistently describe the cottage as clean and well-maintained, indicating high standards of cleanliness that contribute positively to the guest experience.
The location is highly praised for its amazing sea views, quietness, and proximity to local attractions and beaches. The challenging access and need for a car are noted, but do not significantly detract from the overall positive reception of the location.
Guests find the cottage comfortable and charming, with a private garden and adequate equipment. Some concerns about the WiFi and the small size of the en-suite are mentioned, but overall comfort is rated positively.
The property is well-equipped, particularly the kitchen, but there are several mentions of poor WiFi connectivity. Some guests also noted a lack of attention to detail in the utensils and cutlery provided.
While guests have mentioned receiving homemade biscuits, there are not enough instances to accurately assess the consistency of thoughtfulness across all stays. Therefore, it is politely noted that such gestures are appreciated but not guaranteed.

A very comfortable and enjoyable holiday. Trebarwith Strand close by is a splendid beach, but you need to pick your tide carefully. Lots of beautiful places to visit within easy distance, but a car is essential. (For the younger and very fit a bicycle might do.)

We had to leave early because the WiFi was non existent and I had a business presentation. Plus girls don’t do no WiFi 🤨It MUST be sorted out. If the Port William can do it…A shame, because we love it so much. We will stay in trebarwith next time and pay extra for the WiFi

Lovely cottage with amazing views. It is adequately equipped and has some lovely features. We enjoyed staying here. The roads getting to it are small but you expect that in Cornwall. You can walk to the beach but it’s not for the faint hearted as you’re going up and down the cliff. Coming back up is more challenging, we however enjoyed the walks. We also walked out to the cliff top every evening to watch the sunset but you can see it beautifully from the house too.The WiFi is not great. Although it was nice to have time away from the screens we did need it for medical equipment so that was problematic. Would be better to advertise without WiFi to limit expectations as we assumed it would have useable WiFi as advertised as having it.
