Mawgan Porth is a sheltered cove between Newquay and Padstow on the beautiful north Cornish coast, and it features a golden sand beach, excellent surf, and a network of caves and coastal footpaths. Learn to surf or just take a stroll along the cliffs while keeping an eye on the waves this summer. There are many great restaurants in the nearby town of Mawgan Porth, such as Paul Ainsworth's No. 6 and Rick Stein's Seafood Restaurant. The Scarlet Hotel, which caters exclusively to adults, also features a spa that is open to the public. Mawgan Porth has a few shops, including a village store and deli and a farm shop selling meat, eggs, vegetables, bread, and pasties made with local ingredients, and a number of recreational opportunities, including tennis courts, a pitch and putt, and an 18-hole golf course with ocean views.
