About this property

Lying in the centre of Newquay is this impressive and attractive, detached townhouse, Ro-an-mor, with palms trees placed either side of the entrance; it is your own piece of paradise in Cornwall. This large dwelling is ideal for a family holiday or several couples seeking a fun-filled break, with the location placing you at the heart of the action of the surfing capital of Newquay. Walk through the front garden, taking in the imposing aspect of this double fronted abode, before stepping inside and taking a right into the sitting room. Discover a woodburning stove resting in the fireplace, with a large leather corner sofa with reclining seats offering an inviting spot to unwind in, and a large TV to entertain. If you're seeking a quieter space, head into the snug to the left of the main entrance, with fresh white walls and painted floorboards, along with a sumptuous navy corner sofa, it's a tranquil place to relax, with a smaller TV in here too and two beautiful jade green easy chairs. Come together over delicious meals in the kitchen and dining room, with a large wooden table to accommodate all guests, and a lovely pastel mint fitted kitchen housing everything you need to whip up your family favourite dishes, accompanied by the utility room housing the washing machine and dishwasher, and leading to a ground-floor cloakroom. Step outside into the enclosed garden on a warm summer day for an alfresco breakfast, tucking into tasty treats bought from the local bakery as you watch your dog run about the garden. Travel upstairs to find four beautiful bedrooms, with the master double boasting an en-suite shower room, with stylish touches like the panelled headboard and matching drawers and wardrobe. Across the way is the twin bedroom, with a minimalist feel from the black metal bed frames and contrasting white and cream décor, a further double bedroom and a bunk room with standard single beds. Freshen up in the family bathroom, indulging in a soak within the spacious corner bathtub, or begin the day instead with a shower with the overhead shower. Once everyone is ready to explore, be overwhelmed with choice as to where to go first thanks to Ro-an-mor being within strolling distance of almost everything Newquay has to offer. Begin with a walk down to Fistral Beach, Newquay's famous sandy stretch, which is notoriously popular for surfing thanks to the epic surf which comes in from the Cribbar Reef; practice your surfing skills or if you're a beginner get some lessons from one of the many surf schools here. If you prefer a less surf-focused spot, head to Great Western Beach, Porth Beach or Towan Beach for sunbathing on the sands, paddling in the water and fabulous coastal views. A great array of attractions can be enjoyed in Newquay like the Blue Reef Aquarium, home to sharks, giant Pacific octopus and an underwater tunnel, and Newquay Zoo where you'll meet lions, otters, zebras and penguins, both great outings for all ages! Embark on coastal walks along the South West Coast Path to stretch your legs and fully take in the magical coastal scenery, with sparkling waters, hidden coves and secluded bays to come across, you'll fall in love with the wonder of the Cornish shores. The charming village of Crantock rests nearby and is a lovely place to stop for a treat in the local café, whilst Poly Joke Beach is another stunning beach to enjoy. Newquay has plenty of restaurants, pubs and shops to choose from, as well as a lively evening scene so you can head out for an evening of drinks and toast to a fabulous break.
