Lots of space for all of us downstairs. Only complaint is that there is only one parking space instead of the 2 advertised. However very easily parked round the corner

Many close encounters. The existing parking spot behind the conservatory was very tight, if other guests were parking on the pavement behind it took a masters degree in reversing to get onto the road I understood from the advert that there was parking for two cars, but only one available. I believe there may have been a safer parking spot round the back but the back gate was locked. This was not offered to us even though we broached the subject with landlord. Also we had to carry 3 off 25 kg boxes delivered to the house on the first day, we had to lift them and place them in the conservatory. It's not right that if we are renting that the landlord should have personal deliveries sent to the house for us to receive and manage, especially when they are 25KG The bath over flow drain in the main bathroom leaks into the living room. Has been like this for quite some time, as the chandelier has rusted where the water collects, we had no power after a member in our party had a bath. No Toilet downstairs. No instructions on how to operate the grill. No broom. On the plus side, Mary was very supportive, her son was an electrician & together we problem solved the source of the leakage and he made some corrective action. The chandelier was removed. When we arrived a gentlemen was sweeping the leaves in the patio. The leaves were not removed, consequently when the wind blew the leaves were everywhere. It didn't look as if they have ever been removed, the pile was not unsubstantial. When we arrived he clearly had experienced this before as he made a comment to this affect. We had an issue with our car on the morning of departure, whilst we fully understand the need to get the cleaners in to ready the house for the next holiday makers, Tom was very unsupportive and unsympathetic, he just wanted us out in order to get the next holiday makers in. Our 4 year old son had a swollen knee, we were forced to wait outside the house from 10 am until 4-30pm for the RAC recovery. Fortunately several sympathetic holiday makers renting next door were able to provide toilets and tea and biscuits. Thanks Tom! Definitely not a people person. Super Mary, very helpful and friendly.
