Permit parking for 1 car, 75 yards away. No smoking. Please note: There are 6 steps in the courtyard.. Looking out over the meeting point of the East and West Looe River, this second floor holiday apartment, attached to the owners’ home, has private access and boasts stunning views from the secluded terrace across the picturesque estuary. The resort of Looe is home to one of the country’s fish markets supplied by the day boats that leave this quaint working harbour. Stroll the flat lanes that lead to the harbour and wide expanse of golden sand, buy some fish or seafood for that special meal, or visit one of the multitudes of restaurants the town has to offer. The coastal path is easily accessible on foot from the house and provides beautiful walks and views along this dramatic coastline. The railway station is just 50 yards away and there is a very good bus service, meaning a car is not necessary.

There are boat trips, sightseeing and fishing from the harbour and nearby Polperro, a quaint and historic fishing village is a short distance along the coast. There are numerous cycle routes around the area and many surfing spots. Nearby, there are various tourist attractions such as The Monkey Sanctuary, National Marine Aquarium in Plymouth, golf courses, a farm shop providing local produce, and many National Trust gardens and houses to visit. The Eden Project is also an easy drive and provides an exceptional day out as does Padstow, The Lost Gardens of Heligan and Fowey, a picturesque seafaring town providing sailing, kayaking and pleasure trips along the Fowey River. Deep sea fishing, pleasure trips and other water sports can all be enjoyed in Looe, along with woodland and coastal walks nearby. To the east of the town is the historic city of Plymouth, with its theatres, cinemas, bowling and shopping, and to the west is Fowey. Beach ½ mile. Shop 500 yards, pub and restaurant 20 yards.

    This was our second visit to this lovely holiday home in Looe, Cornwall.It was clean & had everything needed for a relaxing few days away. Fresh bedding & towels are always provided. Somewhere to park was a bonus as was the lovely gift of Wine & Cookies on arrival.Looe town is only a minutes walk away with beautiful views, shops & restaurants as well as the stunning harbour. Sarah’s cake shop is a must to visit!!Would definitely recommend & would stay again.
