Sleeping six people in three en-suite bedrooms and welcoming one well-behaved dogs, it is a popular spot.
On entering the property, the living area is to the left with comfortable seating for six, and has wood burner nestled within an original stone surround, perfect for chillier evenings. To the right, on entering the house, is the dining room with a large dining table and eight chairs, and leading off here is the kitchen, which includes double electric oven and hob, dishwasher, fridge, freezer and microwave. The last room on this floor is a bathroom with a bath, toilet and wash hand basin; this room also houses the washing machine and tumble dryer. Upstairs on the first floor are two double bedrooms, both with en-suite shower rooms. On the second floor in the eaves, there is a twin bedroom, also with an en-suite shower room.
The furnished courtyard is a real bonus with this property; it sits just above the river that runs through the village to the harbour, and makes a lovely place to enjoy breakfast, lunch, dinner or just a drink throughout the day. There is a parking space 10 minute walk from the property. Shop, pub and restaurant 50 yards.

Talland House has everything you need for a wonderful stay. The house itself oozes traditional charm, with a fabulous wood burner in the lounge and the unexpected bonus of 2 Christmas trees for our festive week of celebrations. Comfy beds and sofas, an extremely well-equipped kitchen (perfect for a Christmas roast with all the trimmings!) and incredibly effective storage heaters all added to the magic of our first Christmas in beautiful Polperro. Perfectly located right in the heart of everything, with pubs, restaurants, lovely little boutique shops and a great convenience store. The harbour lights were gorgeous and the balcony helped keep all our Christmas tipples nice and cold! Linda - the owner - was lovely on the phone and swift to accommodate our needs for check-in. When Sharon came to clean the house on our day of departure, she couldn’t have been friendlier and was very reassuring when I apologised for the increased amount of Christmas- generated bags of rubbish! Alex came and picked up all our luggage and transported it to the car park without any issues - we highly recommend his Polperro Luggage Taxi service! We had such an amazing week that we have already booked for next New Year! Thank you for the perfect Christmas!

Lovely stay in Cornwall’s beautiful harbour village and traditional Cornish cottage.. Linda - our host was lovely and even helped with some belongings we left behind.
