Nestled on the outskirts of Looe in Cornwall on the West Wayland Holiday Park, is this fantastic two-bedroom holiday home. Enjoying a fabulous location with easy access to the beautiful beaches of Looe and Polperro and an open-plan interior which offers glorious sea views from its living areas. Home away from Home, West Wayland is an excellent base for couples or a family of four who are looking to explore Cornwall. Park-up in one of two convenient off-road parking spaces, before unloading your bags and making your way into your new home-from-home. Be welcomed into the open-plan living space, where you can look forward to whipping up flavourful delights in the well-equipped kitchen, with the help of the gas oven and hob, grill, microwave and fridge with ice box. Settle down to savour a delicious meal, as the wine is poured, and plans are made for the days ahead. As the evening grows darker, retreat inside where you can light the electric fire and snuggle up on the generous sofa, which also doubles as a sofa bed, and select your favourite film from the Smart TV. When sleep calls, retire to one of two well-appointed bedrooms, a twin room and a double, both perfect for enjoying a restful night. Awake from a leisurely slumber and indulge in a refreshing rinse in the shower, before preparing for the day in style and heading out for the day. Pack up your swimsuits, buckets and spades and head straight to Looe beach, where you can beach combe the vast golden sands, build sandcastles with the little ones or paddle the shores, followed by a traditional Cornish cream tea from The Beach Café. The budding historians in your party will enjoy learning about the town’s rich heritage at the Old Guildhall Museum & Gaol showcasing historic artefacts. Nearby, you will find the Wild Futures, The Monkey Sanctuary, where you can get up close to the primates on guided tours and purchase a souvenir from the gift shop. Walkers will delight at the close proximity to the South West Coastal Path, where you can embark on a hike and soak up some of the best views in the area. Polperro is nearby and offers its own superb beach for a fun-filled day on the sands, as well as a good selection of pubs and restaurants, where you and your guests can sample fresh and local cuisine with harbour views. Within the village you will also find the Polperro Harbour Heritage Museum and the charming Polperro Model Village, complete with model railway. Take the drive over to Liskeard, where you will find the picturesque Moyclare Cornish Garden, the interesting Stuart House and The House of Murals and the tranquil Golitha Falls which rest nearby. Home away from Home, West Wayland is an idyllic base for exploring Cornwall with loved ones.

There is constantly a buzz of activity around the quay area of East Looe, which is connected to the quieter West Looe by a seven-arched 19th century bridge over the River Looe. Alternatively, you can travel between East and West Looe via river taxi. There are small cobbled alleys, twisting passageways and plenty of tourist shops in East Looe, while West Looe has a beautiful harbour view. Banjo Pier, the town's most prominent vantage point, can be accessed from the quay and offers stunning views of the harbour, fishing trawlers, and Looe Island, which, during low tides, is accessible by foot.
