Guests say

Linhay is a charming cottage praised for its tranquil location and proximity to Looe and coastal paths. Guests appreciate the friendly hosts, comfortable beds, and the presence of farm animals, making it ideal for families. Some guests noted the need for better cleanliness and maintenance, but the overall experience is deemed positive with many willing to return.

Cleanliness has been a concern for some guests, mentioning the need for a deeper clean and the presence of cobwebs and odours. However, one review highlighted the cottage as 'immaculately clean', indicating inconsistencies in cleaning standards.

The location is highly praised for its quietness, beautiful countryside, and proximity to beaches and Looe Town. The scenic coastal path is also a highlight, though some guests noted the challenging narrow lanes.

Guests find the beds comfortable and the setting relaxing. However, some reviews suggest that the furniture is a bit tired and in need of an update, slightly affecting the overall comfort.

Facilities are generally seen as adequate, with all necessary appliances available. Maintenance issues like misted windows and a slow-draining sink were noted, suggesting room for improvement.

While guests have mentioned thoughtful touches like fresh chicken eggs on arrival, there is not enough consistent information across reviews to accurately score thoughtfulness. It should be noted that such gestures are appreciated but not guaranteed.

Great place. Only a short walk (acros the road) to Bodigga Cliffs and coastal path walk. We thought it was underpriced and nearly didn't book it, but glad we did. We would have paid more, at least 10%. The owner and Hazel (on-site go to person) were very nice and helpful. Central heating worked well. All appliances you need, if anything was needed, it was found for you. Great service. Would recommend to anyone.

Linhay is a lovely cottage set in beautiful countryside. It's a 10 minute drive to Looe Town. Lots of beaches nearby as is Polperro. Overall its a comfortable cottage but could be a lot cleaner.

Love this quiet tranquil spot. Near the coastal path, great for walking. The cottage we very cute, big enough for two. Host on site for any issues. Comfortable bed serviceable kitchen. Definitely will stay again.Might be a little remote for some. But for me, get away from it all, what I need. Though short drive to Looe , if you don't fancy walking.
