This charming property, situated in the ever-popular village of Polruan, is the perfect holiday home for families and their pups. Sleeping four over two peaceful bedrooms with space for up to two dogs, the entire family can join you on dog-friendly beaches like Readymoney Cove (5 miles, some restrictions in July and August) and along the South West Coast Path. When you’re ready to go home, you’ll return to this beach hut-style cottage with fabulous views of the surrounding rooftops and glimpses of the River Fowey from the windows.

The holiday home has a delightful seaside feel in all the decor. Neutral tones paired with splashes of colour in the lounge offer a comfortable place to relax after a long day out exploring, with a wood burner-effect electric fire to add to the cosiness. The contemporary kitchen diner has everything you need for delicious meals that you can eat at the table, or take a quick breakfast out to the front of the cottage where there’s seating and wonderful views. Upstairs, the double bedroom has a coastal feel with waterside views, while the twin bedroom is up in the eaves with limited head room, making it perfect for children. Sit at the desk in the middle for stunning river views. Finally, a bright and airy bathroom with a shower over the bath completes this pretty cottage.

Take a stroll to the harbour (150 metres) where you can catch a ferry over to Fowey and visit the aquarium, one of the cafes or pubs or simply enjoy the beautiful views. The Eden Project (15 miles) is a must-visit; adrenaline junkies can take England’s longest and fastest zipwire over the park and countryside. Lantic Bay (1.5 miles), Polperro Beach (6.5 miles) and Talland Bay (8 miles) are all dog-friendly and absolutely stunning.
