Positioned in the heart of this traditional fishing village with beach, shop and pub within easy walking distance, an ideal spot to sit and watch the world go by. Take the passenger ferry which offers a service every fifteen minutes over to Fowey, offering further shops, pubs and restaurants. Head further afield and visit the National Trust s Lanhydrock, with Victorian house, woodland and riverside paths to explore. For outdoor enthusiasts there is access onto the South West Coast Path and easily accessible is Cardinham Woods with its waymarked trails through scenic woodland. For family days out visit the Eden Project, Hangloose Adventures and Porfell Wildlife Park. Polruan is a quaint little village situated on a very steep hill, so access to some parts of the village can be challenging.. Many of the amenities, ferries and cottages in Polruan are accessed via steps/ slopes some of which can be steep. Please contact us if you have specific requirements.. There are many small winding streets that are not suitable for cars, therefore many properties in Polruan do not have private parking. However, there is a large pay and display carpark at the top of the village..
