Take the regular passenger ferry, which runs every fifteen minutes, across to Fowey which offers independent shops, handcrafted jewellery and local art, or relax in a cafe or pub on the riverfront. For outdoor enthusiasts the property is within easy reach of the South West Coast Path and slightly further afield is Cardinham Woods with its waymarked trails through scenic woodland, St Nectans Glen with its breath taking waterfall and rare plant specimens. Alternatively, visit the Eden Project, the Lost Gardens of Heligan, the Minac Theatre or The Tate at St Ives. Many of the amenities, ferries and cottages in Polruan are accessed via steps some of which can be steep. Please contact us if you have specific requirements.. There are many small winding streets that are not suitable for cars, therefore many properties in Polruan do not have private parking. However, there is a large pay and display carpark at the top of the village..
