Located in Polruan on the South Cornish coast, families and friends can soak up the rich maritime history of the area, whilst immersing themselves in the natural beauty of the coastline. Amongst its narrow streets and steep alleyways, Polruan has maintained its historic charm with a range of shops/eateries, but you can also explore the harbour town of Fowey which can be accessed via the ferry.

From the moment you approach the front door, this property is a feast for the eyes with its original features, quirky décor and eclectic colour palette. Whether you’re reclining in front of the wood burner in the lounge, cooking or dining together in the kitchen/diner or enjoying the rooftop and harbour views from the garden, you will feel as though you are experiencing a slice of Cornish history. As you’d expect from a property like this, the rooms are spacious, including the three bedrooms. Completing the accommodation is a bathroom with roll-top bath.

Steeped in history, Polruan has a variety of interesting landmarks and buildings and is a great base from which to explore this part of Cornwall. Its independent shops, restaurants and pubs are within a few hundred metres of the property. Venturing further afield, keen walkers can head east along the South West Coast Path to the National Trust’s Lantic Bay (1.5 miles) for a day on the beach or a little further on to Polperro (6.5 miles). For yet more natural beauty and winding streets, take the Bodinnick ferry to bustling Fowey (4 miles). A little further away, but worth the drive, are the Eden Project (16.5 miles) and the Lost Gardens of Heligan (25 miles).

- Private parking for either 2 standard size cars or 1 larger SUV size car, 2 garages can be used as well

- There is also parking in the local St Saviours car park a short walk for the cottage (subject to availability and charges)

- Pub and shop within walking distance

- The rear garden and patio have low walls so children must be supervised at all times when in the garden

- Polruan is a quaint little village situated on a very steep hill, so access to some parts of the village can be challenging.
