Make your way to the edge of the River Fowey (0.5 miles), where a passenger ferry runs across the water to the neighbouring harbour town of Fowey (0.5 miles via ferry, 4 miles by car). This picturesque destination offers plenty to admire, including scenic Readymoney Cove (1 mile), overlooked by the imposing St Catherine’s Castle. Also well worth a day trip is Looe (10 miles), another charming seaside village, home to a delightful selection of shops, pubs and restaurants lining the coast.
