Hop on the passenger ferry to Fowey and take advantage of the independent shops and restaurants on offer or enjoy a circular walk to Bodinnick when visiting Daphne Du Maurier s home. Alternatively, go further afield to explore the small villages that hug this South Cornwall coastline from Kingsands and Cawsands on the Rame Peninsula to the beauty of Charlestown s Georgian harbour made famous by the TV series, Poldark. Attractions nearby include Lanhydrock House, the Eden Project, Anthony House and the Mount Edgcumbe estate. On entering the cottage, you will find yourself in the stunning light and bright kitchen/diner, with its beautiful large dining table seating six. You are instantly drawn to the double doors that lead out onto the garden and spectacular views of Polruan, the river and Fowey beyond. The kitchen has soft greys and neutral tones that complement the open space as well as stunning quartz worktops. It has everything you will need during your stay, with an electric oven and hob, dishwasher, fridge, freezer and microwave. Enter the living room, which features a cosy wood burner together with luxurious sofas, and boasts views out across the river. Watch all your favourite programmes on the Smart TV here or listen to music on the Bluetooth speaker. There is also a utility room and separate WC which houses the washing machine and tumble dryer and has ample space for drying wetsuits and clothing. Up the stairs, the first room you come to is the family bathroom with a shower over the bath, fitted vanity unit and WC, as well as underfloor heating. Further along is the king size bedroom with a fitted wardrobe and views out over the village and Fowey river. It also benefits from an en suite shower room with shower, fitted vanity unit, underfloor heating and WC. The next room is the cosy single room, with a built in bed and sea views over the garden. The master bedroom contains a wonderfully luxurious super king size bed, perfect for those lazy mornings, with large wardrobe and views across the village and river. Outside is a stunning garden with borders and a patio with outside furniture and gas BBQ, perfect for those sunny days and al fresco dining whilst taking in the ever changing waterside views of the River Fowey and Fowey itself.
