This idyllic base is a walker's and cyclist's paradise, perfect for exploring the western fringes of the Yorkshire Dales and the beautiful Forest of Bowland. The vibrant market town of Settle is home to a choice of great restaurants, pubs, cafes and shops, and hosts a regular Tuesday market. Just outside the town, you can catch a train on the famous Settle to Carlisle Railway, one of the most scenic routes in the country. Heading into the Yorkshire Dales, walkers can visit to the famous three peaks of Pen y Ghent, Ingleborough and Whernside, or explore Malham Cove or Bolton Abbey. Step into the cottage and be instantly wowed by the stylish kitchen with plenty of cupboard space, and under floor heating. Cooking a meal will be a breeze in this beautiful kitchen with the electric oven and gas hob, microwave, coffee machine, dishwasher, fridge and freezer, and a washer/dryer. When it s time to retire, head up the stairs to the first floor, with a beautiful bedroom with king size bed, where you can get a peaceful night s sleep. The bathroom is on the opposite side of the landing where you can enjoy a relaxing soak in the freestanding bath or get energized in the separate shower before the day s adventures, also with WC. From the kitchen, step out of the French doors into a real tranquil oasis. Guests can take in beautiful views of the Catrigg Force stream which meets the River Ribble further down, there is also a view of the force stepping stones. Light up the charcoal BBQ and dine alfresco in your private patio whilst enjoying the peace and the sounds of the stream behind.
