This area was once part of the famous Godolphin Estate (owned by the National Trust and open to the public), and is perfect for those seeking a relaxing holiday, yet within easy driving distance to the coast. Penzance, with its long promenade, outdoor lido, marina, shops and restaurants, is also nearby. The area is ideal for walking, bird watching, sailing and general water sports, fishing and golf. Perfect holiday again, second time here and booked again for next year, quiet, comfortable and not far from the south west beaches and attractions, just a short drive away. Lovely owners who are there if needed and just leave you to enjoy your holiday

We had a great time at Wheal Metal Lodge - the cottage was so cosy and comfortable, the owners left us some delicious treats and they couldn't have been more friendly and welcoming. There are some lovely places to explore nearby, and we are looking forward to our next visit to Wheal Metal Lodge.
