The most southerly working port in the country, Porthleven (less than 0.5 miles) retains the character of an unspoilt fishing village, boasting a charming granite harbour, a pier, restaurants and cafes. Visible from the village over the horizon, enjoy the scenic walk around Tregonning Hill, 5 miles away, an extinct volcano where China clay was first discovered in the UK and shipped out via Porthleven Harbour. At low tide, west of the harbour entrance (0.5 miles), you can explore excellent rock pools featuring moonstone or giant s quoit, types of rock not found anywhere else in the country. Or discover the stunning Kynance Cove, 14.5 miles away, a tidal beach famous for its white sand, turquoise sea and rock stacks.

The cottage welcomes you straight into the lounge, with homely interiors and a gorgeous wood burner. This cosy room boasts plenty of space to sit and relax in front of the Smart TV or take in the view over the rooftops of the countryside beyond. You will find a well equipped open plan kitchen/dining room, with a dining table for four the perfect spot to catch up and plan your day or enjoy a meal together. Upstairs are two bedrooms, a king size bedroom with plenty of storage and a distant view out across to the harbour, and a good size twin bedroom, again with plenty of storage for clothing.

The family shower room completes this floor. From the kitchen, some steep stairs lead down to the lower ground floor, which comprises a handy utility room and storage for bodyboards and beach items. There is no outside space at this property, but the harbour is less than half a mile away and offers plenty of seating and lovely open spaces to walk. Need to know: 2 bedrooms 1 king size, 1 twin. 1 shower room with shower and WC. Electric oven and hob fridge, freezer, microwave, dishwasher. Utility room in basement with washing machine and tumble dryer. Travel cot and highchair available.
