About this property

Hayle 2 miles. Tolroy Manor Holiday Park is a cottage resting in a superb elevated spot in St Erth Praze, on the outskirts of Hayle, Cornwall. This property benefits from fabulous on-site facilities, including an indoor heated swimming pool, tennis and squash courts, a miniature golf course plus an on-site restaurant, making this an ideal base for a family. Tolroy Manor Holiday Park is a welcoming mid terraced bungalow, a superb homestay for coastal and land based adventures.

Park up and head to this well-presented house catering to four guests, with communal lawn and private patio at the front with picnic bench for alfresco dining in the sunshine, or an evening tipple. The welcome pack provides the essentials to make a cup of tea, and four-legged guests have a treat too.

The open-plan living area is inviting, with large corner sofa and Smart TV, kitchen with all you need to rustle up a tasty meal, plus the dining area, with fold away table.

The two bedrooms offer a double bed and twin beds, both with ample built-in hanging space and drawer storage for your belongings.

Hayle town is a short walk away, with an abundance of eateries, including fish and chips and the Cornish pasty! With supermarkets, pubs and bakeries, you’ll find everything you need. Take a stroll around Copperhouse Pool or RPSB Hayle Estuary, a beautiful nature reserve. Even better, hire a boat and head towards hotspot St Ives.

Visit Paradise Park and Jungle Barn, with lots to do to and see to keep the children amused, along with a children's play centre. The four-mile stretch of sandy beach at Hayle Towans is just over one mile away, and is perfect for swimming and building sandcastles.

A little further afield from Hayle Beach and Hayle Sands is stunning Gwithian Beach with its island lighthouse at Godrevy. Beautiful Carbis Bay is a super sandy beach for more relaxing escapades. The four beaches at St Ives are breathtaking, with little harbour and the winding cobbled streets offer galleries, traditional inns and fine dining! Tate St Ives and the Barbara Hepworth Museum are worthy destinations.

Hop on a boat at the harbour for a fishing or leisure trip or enjoy the scenic coastal train ride from St Erth. Don’t miss the attractions within easy reach: The Minack Theatre, Falmouth Maritime Museum, Eden Project and castle topped St. Michael’s Mount are all within 40 minutes.

Tolroy Manor Holiday Park is one to return to again and again!

Hayle is in the far-flung south western corner of Cornwall and sits on an important rspb wildlife estuary flowing out to the beautiful St Ives Bay, where visitors can enjoy three miles of golden sandy beaches, walks, history and wildlife. Hayle has plenty of activities out of the water too; Paradise Park is a wildlife park, home to some spectacular parrots, otters, and red pandas. Hayle has a range of shops, restaurants and bars scattered around the estuary and harbour area. There are skittles and karting for the family, and for golfers, one of the best links golf courses in Cornwall is at Lelant, a mile out of Hayle. But the jewel of Hayle is the three miles of golden sandy beach, with fantastic surfing at Gwithian where there is a surf shop, lessons and hire of equipment. For the less energetic there are beach cafés where you can take in the views and watch the children play. As Hayle is centrally located you can easily access many other places by either public transport (there is a train station at Hayle) or driving. St. Ives is a short drive away where you can wander through the narrow streets, visit the art galleries, or admire the colourful sub-tropical gardens. St Ives harbour has its own small fishing fleet and there are plentiful boat trips skippered by locals keen to showcase the best that Cornwall has to offer, whether it be seal watching at Seal Island, a couple of hours' mackerel fishing or a relaxing trip to Godrevy Lighthouse. Within easy reach of Hayle is the Minack Theatre, Falmouth Maritime Museum, Eden Project, St. Michael’s Mount and many other fantastic tourist attractions for dry or wet days.
