With beaches and sailing on your doorstep, this four-bedroom detached cottage is perfectly located and beautifully appointed for your Cornish seaside holiday. Bridge cottage is situated on the edge of the Restronguet Creek, in the charming hamlet of Penpol and is just stroll down to the creek.
Full of charm and character, Bridge Cottage has a wonderful homely atmosphere. On entering you will walk into the large dining kitchen with a warming Aga, bespoke units and everything needed to cook up a lovely home cooked meal which can be enjoyed at the large table with seating for eight guests. Just behind the kitchen is the Utility room with a conventional cooker, washing machine and tumble dryer. After enjoying a homely meal, relax in the drawing room with its triple aspect windows, stone inglenook fireplace and wood burning stove; or head through to the cosy sitting room with another warming inglenook fireplace and wood burning stove, as well as a television, perfect for movie nights. Also located on the ground floor is a useful shower room.
All four bedrooms are located on the first floor. The master bedroom has a plush king-size bed along with two quirky and unique port hole windows. Bedroom two has a comfortable king-size bed and a television. Bedroom three has two twin single beds which can be configured as a super-king-size bed on request. The final room, Bedroom four has a single bed as well as an additional trundle bed which is suitable for children only. All rooms are serviced by the family bathroom which has a feature claw foot bath, separate shower cubicle, wash basin and WC.
Outside, at the front of the property, is a delightful cottage garden with stunning views over the creek. A sunny patio with garden furniture and a barbecue is at the back, perfect for relaxing afternoons.
Additional Information:
One well behaved dog is welcome (small additional charge).
The cabin bed in bedroom four is suitable only for children.

Beautiful cottage, sleeps 7. Plenty of space for children or friends, with two sitting rooms, & downstairs shower room. Location, charming creek side village, so many walks available along primrose laden paths. We walked to a different village every day averaging 5km a day. Bring an ordnance survey map to highlight many old churches, settlements, coves, beaches & creeks. May not be the village for you if you don’t enjoy walking. The pub in Devoran village is a good 30 minute walk along the waters edge & you’ll need a torch to walk home! But the sky is full of stars & the pub serves good food, Cornish ales & staff friendly. Shops and alternative places to eat out are a drive away. We loved using the aga for making breakfast & the occasional supper.
