The retreat is a good base for enjoying the beautiful town of falmouth and the surrounding areaThe cottage itself was a little tired and could do with some refurbishment especially the bathroom where the power in the shower was disappointing

A great location for exploring Cornwall. We stayed for five days and most places were just a short drive away. The train station is just around the corner and is ideal for visiting the main towns. . We didn’t use the kitchen much but it looked very well resourced with high quality products. The accommodation was very clean and the owners have ensured that it has everything you need for a relaxing stay. It is in a very quiet residential area and we appreciated the peace and quiet. We found parking a little tricky on the roadside as we had a big car and found it difficult to turn around without reversing into people’s driveways. The super soft towels were plentiful and the welcome gift was much appreciated. We will definitely stay here again, thank you for a great stay.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at The Retreat! It is a luxurious, comfortable and beautiful holiday let equipped with everything you need for your stay. The location is perfect for trips to the local beaches and the town as it’s very central. It is only 2 minutes away from the local train station branch line. It can be heard from the accommodation but I found it a comforting sound and not disturbing and the holiday let was lovely and peaceful. The view from the bedroom is stunning and I particularly loved the coastal theme and decor which was very my taste.
