Henry viii's Pendennis Castle, located on a peninsula with breathtaking views of Falmouth Harbor, is a top tourist attraction. To the west of Falmouth harbour, on the Roseland Peninsula, is the picturesque village of St. Mawes, with its rocky coves, sandy beaches, and rolling landscape. Driving there will take you around 15 miles, alternatively you can take the Falmouth Passenger Ferry (15 minutes). Swanpool Nature Reserve is a lagoon and site of particular scientific interest that is home to a wide variety of species and is a haven for those who appreciate the outdoors.
