A rustic dining area serves as a central position for the family to gather at mealtimes whilst the cook prepares supper in the modern well equipped kitchen. Head upstairs to three clutter-free bedrooms offering practical sleeping arrangements with a zip link twin that can be a super king-size double on request, double room and a single room. The three bedrooms share a modern bathroom, typically for a traditional cottage sited on the ground floor. There is a useful boot room for surfboards, bikes and walking gear and outside a lovely south facing garden and patio area with ample parking. A wonderful walking destination with scenic countryside walks from the front door. The market town of Helston is roughly 5 miles where you will find a good range of shops, supermarkets, restaurants and home to the famous Blue Anchor Inn, one of Britain's oldest Inns that has been brewing its own range of Spingo Ales for over 600 years. At the bottom of the town Coronation Park will keep young children entertained and where you can join the National Trust Penrose Walks that lead you alongside Loe Pool, Cornwall's largest freshwater lake to the fishing village of Porthleven. Stop for a while and relax in the sunshine at one of the many cafes and restaurants clustered around the pretty harbour side, or bring a picnic and enjoy a day sunbathing on the beach. There are many other wonderful family beaches in the area, including Poldhu Café, near Mullion, where you can enjoy Pizza on the beach, Praa Sands, where there is surf tuition and hire available, and pretty coves such as Rinsey and Gunwalloe. With so much on your doorstep Farm Cottage will suit all ages and interests and is ideal for a Cornish break at any time of year.

Porthleven is one of south west Cornwall’s hidden coastal gems, located near Helston famous for its annual Flora Dance Festival. Situated between Lizard Point and Land’s End, Porthleven retains the feel of a traditional Cornish fishing village, enjoying uninterrupted views of the Atlantic Ocean and the beautiful Cornish coastline. The iconic clock tower sits on the harbour entrance and the pubs, shops, cafés and restaurants cluster around the historic picturesque inner harbour, where there is plenty of boating and marine activity.
