About this property

Lanteglos Villa 25 is a single storey property set in the grounds of Lanteglos Country House Hotel, with 15 acres of garden and woodlands to explore. Lanteglos Villa 25 makes a great family value-for-money venue, with on-site facilities including an outdoor swimming pool , tennis and squash courts, hotel restaurant, conservatory brasserie and bar (seasonal opening on all facilities 28th May - 1st September) With lots of safe space for children to play, it's perfect for a relaxing family break. Positioned at the end of a terrace, the accommodation is homely with a contemporary, cosy yet perfectly formed open plan living room with comfy seating, dining area and kitchen. There are two bedrooms, including a double and a bunk room, suitable for adults or children, plus a family bathroom. At the front of the villa is a table and chairs for morning coffee or evening tipples. The beautiful north Cornish coast with amazing beaches, cliff top walks and enchanting fishing villages is just five miles from this charming almost secret, little villa escape. Port Isaac is a winner, just eight miles away - host to TV's 'Doc Martin' with little quay, dinky art galleries, traditional inns and restaurants a plenty! Sail at the chic resort of Rock or picnic on the sandy beach, dine out in Padstow on Rick Stein's famous fish and chips, or enjoy cream teas and pasties in Polzeath. For inland escapades, visit the Eden Project or hire bikes and peddle the famed Camel Trail. Back at the coast, steeped in history is Tintagel Castle, a worthy destination. Boscastle, with scenic ravine and quaint harbour is a great spot for coffee and cakes aside the water, or visit the farm shop café with panoramic ocean views and delicious food from its elevated rural spot! The South West Coast Path promises the most stunning sea vistas! Camelford town is a short drive away, perfect for provisions.

Port Isaac is a small and picturesque fishing village on the Atlantic coast, until the mid nineteenth century, it was a very busy port, handling goods such as stone, coal and timber. Stunning views of the harbour can be enjoyed whilst walking along the cliff top, whilst the harbour itself provides the perfect spot to relax and while away the hours. The delightful harbourside pubs offer a friendly and welcoming atmosphere. In the summer months fishing trips can be taken from the harbour. The popular ITV series, Doc Martin, is filmed in Port Isaac, and the village was also the location for Poldark.
