However, pet owners should note the garden is not enclosed.

Guests that stayed at this property said

The cottage generally receives high marks for cleanliness, with multiple guests noting its tidy state upon arrival. However, a few instances of cobwebs and a dirty sheet slightly mar the overall impression.

The location is appreciated for its quietness, lack of light pollution, and proximity to lovely beaches and family-friendly attractions, despite some being a 30-minute drive away.

Guests find the cottage comfortable, highlighting the cosy bedrooms and sufficient space for families. The master bedroom receives particular praise for its pleasant atmosphere.

The lodge is well-equipped, but there are some maintenance issues mentioned, such as a loose towel radiator and non-functioning lights. The lack of an enclosed garden for pets is also noted.

While guests mention thoughtful gestures like essentials left for their use and a guest book with suggestions, there is not enough consistent information on gifts to provide a score. It should be noted that such gestures are appreciated but not guaranteed.

Roughly an hour from everywhere you would want to go. Great cottage especially with the downstairs bedroom and bathroom. Not the largest property but big enough for 4 people. Lots of useful information provided and seems to have everything you should need. Was left milk in the fridge for our arrival which was a nice touch. A couple of lights didn't work, the one in the upstairs bathroom was the biggest inconvenience as to use it at night meant using the mirror light. the instructions for the fire seemed to be straight forward but thank good it was a warm week as we couldn't get the fire to light. lots of cobwebs through out the property.

The cottage provided everything you would need for your stay, it was very clean and comfortable I would have given this a recommendation of 10 however the only letdown was no enclosed garden as staying with two small dogs would of been nice to be able to open doors and allow the dogs out to sit on the grass without their leads on.

The guest book was great as we did visit some places suggested an was not disappointed The reason you didn’t get 5 stars was the cleanliness on arrival place looked immaculate but the sheet was dirty which we changed now I know we all get cobwebs but the bedroom ceiling was just one big thick cobweb from beam to beam the headboard was the same as was the living room ceiling again we sorted this by hoovering but not something I want to be doing on my first night before getting into bed
