Roughly an hour from everywhere you would want to go. Great cottage especially with the downstairs bedroom and bathroom. Not the largest property but big enough for 4 people. Lots of useful information provided and seems to have everything you should need. Was left milk in the fridge for our arrival which was a nice touch. A couple of lights didn't work, the one in the upstairs bathroom was the biggest inconvenience as to use it at night meant using the mirror light. the instructions for the fire seemed to be straight forward but thank good it was a warm week as we couldn't get the fire to light. lots of cobwebs through out the property.

The cottage provided everything you would need for your stay, it was very clean and comfortable I would have given this a recommendation of 10 however the only letdown was no enclosed garden as staying with two small dogs would of been nice to be able to open doors and allow the dogs out to sit on the grass without their leads on.

The guest book was great as we did visit some places suggested an was not disappointed The reason you didnât get 5 stars was the cleanliness on arrival place looked immaculate but the sheet was dirty which we changed now I know we all get cobwebs but the bedroom ceiling was just one big thick cobweb from beam to beam the headboard was the same as was the living room ceiling again we sorted this by hoovering but not something I want to be doing on my first night before getting into bed
