Snaptrip says

Bybrook Lodge in Camelford, Cornwall, is a well-received cottage offering a clean, comfortable stay with well-equipped facilities. Guests appreciate the peaceful location, proximity to beaches, and thoughtful touches like essential items provided. The lack of an enclosed garden for pets and minor maintenance issues are noted, but overall, the lodge provides an enjoyable break.

Guests that stayed at this property said

The lodge is generally praised for its cleanliness, with several guests highlighting its immaculate condition. However, a few mentions of cobwebs and a dirty sheet slightly affect the score.

The location is well-regarded for its tranquillity and proximity to beaches and attractions, despite some guests noting a 30-minute drive to the nearest beach. The dark surroundings at night were mentioned, but this also allowed for spectacular views of the night sky.

Guests find the cottage comfortable, with a special mention of the master bedroom. The provision of a baby gate and high chair adds to the comfort for families. Space may be slightly limited for larger groups.

The lodge is well-equipped, but some maintenance issues like a loose towel radiator and non-functioning lights are noted. The absence of an enclosed garden for pets is a recurring concern.

Guests appreciate the thoughtful touches, such as the provision of milk and a guest book with suggestions for outings. While these gestures are well-received, it is politely noted that such gifts are not guaranteed.

This was not the case as the fencing only part enclosed the garden area. The lodge itself was clean, spacious and had all the amenities needed. Lovely quiet area with local walks and very handy for local beaches

Roughly an hour from everywhere you would want to go. Great cottage especially with the downstairs bedroom and bathroom. Not the largest property but big enough for 4 people. Lots of useful information provided and seems to have everything you should need. Was left milk in the fridge for our arrival which was a nice touch. A couple of lights didn't work, the one in the upstairs bathroom was the biggest inconvenience as to use it at night meant using the mirror light. the instructions for the fire seemed to be straight forward but thank good it was a warm week as we couldn't get the fire to light. lots of cobwebs through out the property.
