The best of Cornwall can be explored aboard a boat trip, with visits to Seal Island or Godrevy Lighthouse, whilst the wildlife park of Paradise Park offers family-friendly entertainment on land.

I contacted the site management who promptly came over and replaced the dirty plates and he responded by saying he would get onto Sykes about the cleaners,which made us think that Sykes employed the cleaners,but on the day of departure,about 8.30, he arrived with 2 teenage children who we presumed were his,to clean the propertiesâ¦

Although not dirty the property would benefit from a good clean to get rid of the cobwebs in the corners and the dust behind the settees. The television is set high on the wall and uncomfortable to watch from the settee. The TV signal was poor and channels would drop out. The shower in the ensuite is a small cubicle and difficult to wash yourself in. The drain is partially blocked and does not clear quickly. The bed in the second bedroom squeaks when you move in the bed. There is a problem with the dishwasher. Some of the plates are too thick and do not fit in the racks. Previous residents have bent the rack to fit them in. Outside lighting is poor/non-existant. Arriving back in the dark you need a torch to see to put the key in the door lock. We liked the location of the property as the north cornwall coast, south coast and Land's End were all within a reasonable driving distance but access is down narrow roads and along a bumpy farm track which might not be to everyone's liking.

It was our first visit to Cornwall. The grain store was ideally situated to teach north and south Cornwall. The accommodation was perfect. Outside seating area spacious inside. All the facilities you need for a weeks stay. It was peaceful and quiet and lovely places to walk around the accommodation We thoroughly enjoyed staying here. We would definitely recommend the accommodation. We will be returning to Cornwall and hope to stay again. An drinks fridge would have been great or a bigger fridge/freezer as we struggled to fit our food in because we brought a lot with us. Otherwise brilliant place to stay.
