About this property

Upper Deck is a light and bright maisonette in the historic fishing village of Port Isaac, on North Cornwall’s picturesque coastline. Stylishly furnished and offering sea views from the living areas and charming bedrooms, the property is an idyllic bolthole for a couple of family of four.

On entering this delightful home, you will find a contemporary open-plan living area complete with windows in the kitchen and lounge that perfectly frame the stunning sea view – nature’s finest art!

The kitchen, with a handy WC off it, is well-equipped and hosts a small dining area, so why not pop to the local fish market to cook up a seafood platter in your coastal abode? The homely sitting area invites you to sink into the sofa and cosy up in front of the woodburning stove, or take in the beautiful coastal vista from the snug window seat, whilst sipping your morning coffee.

A calming oasis greets you upstairs, with two en-suite double bedrooms that feature characterful beams, vaulted ceilings and stunning sea views, enabling you to wake up to the ocean in the comfort of your seaside sanctuary.

Port Isaac is abundant in character and has a strong fishing heritage - the place where the Fisherman’s Friends story began, and where village life is centred around the picturesque harbour. The property is enviably located just a short downhill walk to the famous Platt (harbour) where centuries-old buildings are home to independent shops and thriving cafés, not to mention a popular pub.

For a day out further afield, visit the chic village of Rock (7.5 miles), located on the banks of the Camel Estuary. Spend half a day exploring the village and sandy beach before hopping across the water by ferry to Padstow, where you can enjoy celebrity chef restaurants, fantastic shops and a welcoming atmosphere.

Situated within walking distance to the heart of Port Isaac, and boasting superb views, the property is ideal for a romantic retreat or family holiday in North Cornwall - the only issue is you may not want to leave!

Port Isaac; one of the true Cornish treasures. A beautiful fishing village nestling in a steep sided valley, the old village in the valley remains unchanged from its days of fishing, slate export and smuggling in the previous century. An abundance of small character properties complemented by larger cliff-top retreats, can be found with easy access to the numerous restaurants and shops of the village. The sandy harbour provides an abundance of rock pools as the tide retreats. Only ten minutes drive from the beaches of Polzeath, Daymer and Rock, it is perfect for romantic and family holidays alike. There is ample parking at the top of the village.
