Comfortable log cabin offering self-catering in the heart of Cornwall. Set amongst the trees, the Larches Lodges blend perfectly into their natural surroundings. They provide comfort and warmth throughout the year, with the advantage of a covered walkway and veranda. There is a well-equipped kitchen/diner and bathroom with a shower over the bath or shower only. Guests will also find a comfortable lounge with Freeview TV. The veranda has a picnic table which allows eating alfresco. Offering either two double or one double and one twin (please check when booking).

Overall a great place to stay, it's in the middle of nowhere with narrow country lanes to acces. The TV signal is very poor with only a handling of channels available. No BBC1, no BBC2, no ITV. There's always woodlice to keep you company. The bed is super comfortable with lovely pillows. Pretty new carpet Plenty of hot water available. Microwave and Hob/Oven work well.

The place was smaller than the impresion the photos gave but adequate for 2 adults and 2 kids. The place was adequately equipped, but with low quality items and there was no basic food item so bring salt, pepper, tea, coffee, sugar etc. The place was clean and the beds comfortable. Larch Lodge is opposite the campsite facilities block and bins, so expect some noise from there. I would have been happy with this place if it had not been for the overwhelming smell of mould in the main bedroom and kitchen cupboards. There was black mould on underside of the double mattres and a very strong air freshener to try and overpower the mould smell. I had to sleep with all bedroom and kitchen windows and doors open to let enough fresh air in (this also let in noise from the campsite). The twin bedroom seemed okay. Good location, close to the Camel Trail, Bodmin and Wadebridge.
