Fantastic location even tho it does not have any facilities what so ever but only a 3 min drive into town so wasn’t a problem! You couldn’t fault the caravan as very clean,WiFi, bath and shower. We was welcomed with a bottle of fizz which I thought was lovely touch. Very quiet location which suited us as we have had the holiday on parks with screaming kids even tho we have a 10 year old daughter, she loved it and Perranporth is stunning and will be back. Thank you again

My family and I have just spent a week at Perran Heights holiday park and we have thoroughly enjoyed it. The holiday home we stayed in was very clean and well equipped. We didn’t pay extra for outside space and we were surprised to find we had a small private decking area with a table and chairs which was nice, Especially as we have two young children (7 months and 5 years) The site itself doesn’t have any shop however other local shops are only a short car ride away. The holiday park provided us with a folder with all the local stores/attractions and other useful info in. During our week we visited beaches, Pendennis Castle, Cornwall Gold, Tintagel castle island and Hidden Valley and more, so the location of the park is perfect for families with a car. As much as we enjoyed our stay and would definitely return to Perran Heights there was two things which we weren’t so happy about. One being the oven - I know when you go on holiday you like to eat out but with two small children we also had to cook a lot in the holiday home. The oven was gas and it did not cook well. We even tried cooking on higher temperatures to what the instructions recommended but it wasn’t enough, we had to throw our food away one evening because the cooker was just unable to cook it properly. The other issue was we asked for a travel cot which we got, and the cot itself was fine but there was no cot sheet provided and we had to improvise wrapping a adult size bed sheet around the cot mattress tucking it under. I was worried if my baby rolled over onto her front during the night the sheet may not have been breathable and If she pulled it up there would be too much excess sheet in the cot with her. Luckily she didn’t move around too much and I kept regular checks on her but proper fitted cot sheets are definitely something the park should look into. Overall we was happy with our stay and we would recommend it.
