We rented this house for a family gathering. There were 13 of us of a range of ages. The house was ideally suited for this given the time of year and the fact we did not really need to leave it. Apart that is from some excellent seafront walks. It was as clean as a whistle and very spacious and well equipped.

We were a large group of numerous families with too many children to count ranging in age from one to ten. We all had a fantastic time. The house is very well laid out and equipped. We could have packed lighter. Plenty of space for people to come together around the large kitchen table and comfortable garden seating. Also some quiet time in the myriad room or the expansive gardens. The beach was so quiet too. We practically had it to ourselves. As a Mi.dlander I enjoyed swimming in the sea and my husband and I swam with our four year old son in the sea altogether for the first time. Magical. It was a huge bonus to be able to walk to the beach and not have to load up the car with everything you may need and then worry about parking made our beach trip so easy. We wandered to the children's park but have to confess that is all the exploring we did. The huge garden and calm sea were attractions enough to keep all the adults and children happy. In short we would happily recommend for a gathering of many families. We all expected it to be fraught but the thoughtfully organised house and garden and the location to the beach location meant that it was actually relaxing. No small feat with so many toddlers around.

This was our first visit to this part of the UK and what a delight! As you will see the house is tastefully and fully equipped for a relaxing holiday. \turn to the right at the beach, you can walk along and eventually reach Selsey Village. This has a pleasant High Street and the RNLI Lifeboat Station. The Pagham PSPB Nature Reserve is worth a visit and it is free. Part of the walk will give you information on the railway that used to run from Chichester to Selsey. We caught small bass and bream from the each. Fushing tackle and bait from the Southern Angling at Stockbridge. Relax and enjoy - We did!
