A little further afield you could take a trip to Chichester, where you can visit the town’s 12th-century cathedral and admire an area that is steeped in history.  Check out Arundel with its historic castle and Wildfowl and Wetlands Trust, which is situated only 10 miles away and provides a good day out.  The Goodwood Estate is well worth a visit and is situated just a short drive away, where you can enjoy an event at the racecourse, or simply just walk round and admire the beautiful estate.  Also worth a visit is Fontwell Park Racecourse, which is only 8 miles away.  You can jump on th. . .
