This area is a great touring and sightseeing base, it is close to historic Arundel with its castle, cathedral, wild fowl and wetlands, restaurants, pubs, inns, book shops, antique shops and cafes.  The South Downs National Park, Chichester cathedral, Goodwood House and Races (Festival of Speed and The Revival), Fontwell horse racing, and the beaches of Littlehampton. . .
