About this property

Tucked away in the quaint village of Elmer in West Sussex, is this superb three-bedroom dormer bungalow, 5 Sea Way. Boasting a fully enclosed garden which offers private and direct access to the sandy beach as well as easy access to the South Downs National Park, 5 Sea Way makes for a fantastic coastal getaway for a group of friends or a family of six. Be welcomed into the spacious living/dining room, where you can look forward to long, lazy dinners over a bottle of wine around the dining table for eight, followed by curling up on the plush sofa with your loved ones and enjoying a movie marathon, courtesy of the TV. Grab your chefs’ hat and come into your own in the well-equipped kitchen, where you can utilise the electric oven and hob, fridge/freezer and microwave to create culinary delights for your party. Why not dine alfresco out on the private patio, where you can fire up the barbecue and savour the sunshine. As the evening cools, retreat into the conservatory, where you can finish up evening drinks whilst still enjoying garden views. Completing the ground-floor is a bathroom where you can wash off sandy toes after a day at the beach, and a cloakroom, ideal for avoiding morning queues! Make your way up to the first-floor where you can choose from three beautifully decorated bedrooms, two king-size and a twin, each with zip/link providing flexible sleeping arrangements for all and served by a cloakroom. A sought-after location, 5 Sea Way is part of Elmer Sands Estate, a private, gated estate boasting neat houses with colourful flowerbeds, peaceful spots and stunning sea views, where you have direct access to the beach from the bottom of the garden. The estate is perfect for visitors seeking easy access to quieter seaside and rural areas, to escape the more crowded and lively resorts, while also hosting a selection of quaint shops and pubs. Pack up your bathing suits and swimming trunks and head straight to the beach via the garden gate, where you can beachcombe the pebbled shores, take a dip in the waters or bathe in the sun with your favourite book. Take your pick of delightful restaurants, including The Beresford and The Cabin pub, where you can treat your guests to a traditional pub lunch or evening out, ideal for when you fancy a night off from the kitchen. Venture to Chichester for a day of city dwelling, well-known for its excellent shopping and remarkable Norman Cathedral which offers free guided tours. Racing enthusiasts will be pleased to discover the nearby Goodwood Racecourse, home to the annual Qatar Goodwood Festival, Goodwood Revival and the Festival of Speed. For a getaway with something for everyone, look no further than 5 Sea Way.

Resting within the Arun District of West Sussex lies the coastal village of Elmer, part of the built-up area around Bognor Regis. The village is home to a small shopping area with independent shops, a convenience store, two pubs and a restaurant, as well as Elmer beach, a stunning and picturesque stretch of sand with rock pools and nearby islands to explore. For discovering the spectacular South Coast of England, Elmer is a fantastic base within reach of other lovely towns.

I would like to try here in the summer next year.

The conservatory has a really good selection of beach and garden furniture. Being the only family on the beach on beautiful August days was something I've rarely experienced in Britain and that, coupled with being able to get back to the house so easily, was one of the highlights of the holiday. Thank you too, Jane, for pointing out the play area and field near the house which were both enjoyed by our grandchildren; the little library in the hut is a lovely place to look into too. We would certainly like to come back.

Yes a bit on pubs, . The child gate on the stairs was a nuisance .
