Cheltenham Cottage is a charming maisonette set within the courtyard at Bruern. A perfect bolthole offering open-plan living over two floors with stunning views across the Cotswold countryside.

As you enter through your own private entrance, Cheltenham Cottage is accessed via a spiral staircase. The spacious open-plan living area is flooded by natural light from six windows which look out to staggering views; on one side, across the walled garden, fields and woods to Stow-on-the-Wold in the distance; and on the other, over the stable courtyard and the parkland of Bruern Abbey.

The elegance and charm of the sitting room with its open fire and writing desk blends seamlessly with the modern feel of the kitchen/dining area.

The stairs lead up to two beautifully appointed bedrooms. One has a double four poster bed with a cushioned window seat and the smaller bedroom has two single beds. Both share the family bathroom which has a shower over the bath and a beautiful marble wash stand.

Guests staying in Cheltenham have their own private summerhouse and terrace at the end of the garden, with a table, chairs and a big umbrella, plus a barbecue for al-fresco meals. In front, there’s the wonderful sweep of the lawn and the 150 foot long border, backed by a wisteria and apple tunnel.

Cheltenham Cottage is part of Bruern Cottages and enjoys access to a the communal games room, two spa treatment rooms, a heated indoor pool, and gym area. There is a children's playground at the property and there are also rental bicycles available for all too. Standard bicycles are free of charge and E-bikes are £30 per bike, per day.

This cottage is not suitable for guests with mobility issues or young children/infants.

Cheltenham Cottage is part of Bruern Cottages. Bruern Cottages offer unlimited access to a communal games room, two spa treatment rooms (bookable via the Estate office), an indoor pool and a gym area for guests to use.

There are bicycles available to rent for the day, by the main office. Standard bicycles are free of charge and E-bikes are £30 per bike, per day.

There is an electric car charging point available to use on-site and it is free of charge. Please enquire at the Estate office.

Children must be supervised at all times when using the indoor swimming pool.

Sorry, children are not permitted in the gym.

A river runs through the estate and leads to a weir that is gated off. Please supervise children at all times.
