We had a wonderful short break at Shepherd's Loft. We were greeted by Sue on arrival and from the moment we set foot inside the property we felt at home. Clean, cosy and comfortable with thoughtful touches throughout. Perfectly situated for travelling around the area, yet set in a quiet rural setting with red kites circling overhead and the hooting of an owl each evening! We have already booked to return again next year.

Had a very warm welcome from the host, Sue, on arrival. Fresh baked bread and fresh laid eggs were such a thoughtful gesture which were left with some other goodies. Was a lovely find, quiet and peaceful. Was a good base to travel from but far enough from the beaten track to feel free. Will be back in the future no doubt. Lovely!

This property proved to be perfect for us It had all we required.Made us reevaluate what we have booked in the past.It was comfortable and in an area between Oxford and Reading which allowed us to do many nearby walks either around the local area or along the River Thames and to visit local Nt properties. Twenty minutes or so into Reading via Henley was easy enough as visiting family was the reason to book this property in the first.Welcome pack on arrival a nice bonus!!
